Nicola Menicacci
Meet Nicola Menicacci
They say we live many different lives. I sure lived a few!
Started as a classic musician in Italy but then I broke a tendon and my career was over before I knew it. So I became an attorney, a criminal one, in the South of Italy. It went well, until I realized I was better off. Then a translator, but sitting facing a computer is not my thing.
And, as the Brazilians say, if you don't like where you're at, you're not a tree, just leave!
I moved to New York in 2017, with a visa just one thing in mind: I loved the city and people said I am a good storyteller. What else could I be, if not a tour guide? Seven years later, I have an American passport and I am still crazy about the city!
What do I love to show about New York? New York. Not the New York tourists expect. Mostly the city that wraps around a hot pipe on a cold winter night, or a windy and breezy corner on a hot, humid summer. Or maybe the dark side of Times Square after dark, what really happened at Ellis Island, and maybe talk about it while still deciding if pizza tastes better the Italian or the New York way...
You still there? Well, then, how about booking some time together?
